Any assignment will do even if you have already emailed it to me. Upload all of this week’s work by Friday at 2 if possible.

Character traits are valued aspects of a person's behavior. Everyone has character traits, both good and bad, including our favorite fictional characters. Character traits are often labeled with descriptive adjectives such as patient or honest.

If you lost the handout or want an extra challenge, watch world history according to schoolhouse rock and write a few sentences telling me what you learned from the episode.

20 Spelling Test (Ask someone to test you.) Please correct your spelling test with a red pen and write how many you got right over the total number of words. 


10 minutes Power Write: Use as many spelling words in sentences as you can. Remember to write as fast as you can and as best as you can.

Read one of the National Geographic books you received about the Earth. It is your choice which novel you would like to read now. In your science notebook, write down important vocabulary words with their definitions and important facts that you learned from the text. For example, in the book, Volcanoes, you could describe the types of volcanoes and how they were formed. In the book, The San Francisco Earthquake, you can identify ways people can prepare for earthquakes. In the book, Mountains of Fire, you can write what happens when a volcano erupts. We will be getting into reading/ science groups when we return back to school. Happy Reading!
