Saint Patrick’s Day Writing Prompt
( The question: How do you think St. Patrick felt when he was surrounded by strangers in a foreign land is a question for you to reflect on/ think about. You do not have to answer it with pencil and paper.)
Write one paragraph about a time when you were afraid. How did your faith in God help you face your fears? What happened in the end? 
Example: 
Write the writing prompt into a sentence. Topic: I remember being afraid and God helped me through it. 
Statement: When I was six years old, I was afraid of the dark.
Detail/ Reason
Statement: God helped me face my fears.

Concluding sentence: In the end, I was no longer afraid because...


Put your name and date on the top of the paper with the title Saint Patrick’s Day Writing. 
Make sure you use a dictionary to help with spelling. Please write in complete sentences. 
You may draw a picture on the back side that corresponds with your writing.


If you are finished with any of your work ahead of time you may read, do the Saint Patrick’s Day Word Search, and Maze.
