Fun Writing Activity
Get out some paper (any kind will do) and write a letter to an author of your choosing. Tell them what you like about their books. Give examples. Ask them questions. Re-read what you wrote and check for capitals, punctuation, and spelling. Include a drawing of your favorite part. You might even ask a parent to help you mail or email your letter to the author (most authors have contact information on their websites or inside their books.) There’s a chance they’re staying indoors too and have time to reply to their fans!
