8:30- 9:10 Mandarin Mandarin folder

9:10- 10:15 Language Arts/Science
Read one of the National Geographic books you received about the Earth. It is your choice which novel you would like to read now. In your science notebook, write down important vocabulary words with their definitions and important facts that you learned from the text. For example, in the book, Volcanoes, you could describe the types of volcanoes and how they were formed. In the book, The San Francisco Earthquake, you can identify ways people can prepare for earthquakes. In the book, Mountains of Fire, you can write what happens when a volcano erupts. We will be getting into reading/ science groups when we return back to school. Happy Reading!
